Our Barefoot Kolhapuri Sandals follow an India / US size chart. If you’re in-between sizes, please choose the larger size.

This is completely normal and expected. Wear them indoors for short periods at first. Nothing but the OG for us. Crafted by hand in time-tested ways, our Barefoot Kolhapuris are real, raw and perfectly imperfect. And have been created by artisans in Kolhapur itself.
Each pair is created using untreated leather, and is then shaped and stitched by hand. Because of its handmade nature, you might notice minor inconsistencies in the stitching, color and shape. This is absolutely normal and is part of the delight of wearing something that was created by hand. Like we said, perfectly imperfect.

Please avoid using them in water or rains. Dampness can lead to mould on the leather. Store them in a dry place and keep it away from moisture. Use a dry cloth to clean your Kolhapuri sandals.

Is Shipping Free?
Sit back and wait for your order. That's all you need to do. Oh right, and we don't charge for shipping.
When Will I Receive My Piece?
Trust us, we know. It's a real drag to wait for a piece you'd basically like to wear now. We're working on figuring out a faster way, but for now we ship your order in 4-6 business days (customizations take longer and we'll let you know via email or Whatsapp). It'll take another 3-5 days for the order to reach you depending on your pincode.
Can I Change or Return My Piece?
We're thrilled that you're loving Surma and hope that your piece fits you just like you thought it would. But fits are fits and we get it. So if you'd like to return something, there are two ways:
- You can exchange the piece for a different size or style within 10 days of receiving it. Once we receive the product, we'll ship the desired size to you
- If you'd like to return it, you can do so within 10 days of receiving it. Once we receive it, the piece will go through a quality check and we will issue a full refund to the original payment method within 24-48 hours
- We exchange and return without any charge and get the garment reverse shipped. In the case of exchanges this is done once. In case the size or style doesn't work for you even after it has been exchanged, we would not be able to get it reverse shipped a second time. We would need you to ship it back to us if you need to return it for a refund. Sorry about this, but sometimes we need to work according to the rules set up by our shipping and payment partners
